As Bo’s wife, I wanted to brag on his great achievement this month and also share with you why you should consider hiring Bo as your realtor. I get a front row seat to watch him wheel and deal, but honestly, his greatest focus is on his clients. Of course, I might be biased, but I doubt that any other realtor in the world cares for his clients like Bo does. He wants to make them happy, not just by getting the best price possible for their home, whether buying or selling, but also ensuring they find the most suitable home for their needs and dreams or sell their home to someone who will value and love it like they have.


Homes are precious to their owners. The walls preserve memories. The floors have scratches from living: dogs, toys, high heels, rearranging furniture, etc. The rooms bring comfort, love and laughter. For many people, their home is their largest purchase and is a vital piece of their life. Home buying and selling are big decisions and you should not feel pressured or stressed through the process. It takes time to find the right fit and to let go of something so precious. Bo takes the time to understand the embedded value of a home in his clients’ hearts and minds. And when he shows their home to potential clients, he gets there early, opens it up, makes sure it looks perfect and personally walks potential buyers through it painting a picture of their life in their new home! He even devotes his time and energy walking other realtors’ clients through his listings sharing and showing the value of the home. Then he sits back to let it sink in. If you have not met Bo, this may sound like pressure sales, but Bo’s personality is nothing like that. You will love the time you spend with Bo whether or not you choose to buy the house…he has been known to refer these other realtors’ clients to other houses listed by other realtors, in turn, cutting himself out of the deal because he listened to their clients and thought of another house that would be a perfect fit for them.


He takes his job seriously and personally. On the buy side, he will spend countless hours researching every house listed on the market scouring for the right fit. He will spend hours touring his clients through as many houses as they want to see, even taking them by boat so they can see the house from the lake and engulf them in the experience they are looking to buy. He carefully considers if a house will function for their family – are the stairs too steep for their grandmother to navigate, can he negotiate a fence to protect young children from easy lake access, and more than once he has sold docks between clients to fit his buyers’ new boat! Bo is not afraid to list a house over the market value listening and honoring his clients’ wishes to try for the highest value possible. He patiently waits for the perfect buyer who shares this embedded value in his client’s home when most realtors would have pressured their clients to lower the price. He has broken records selling a manufactured house for over a million dollars and the highest sales price for a condo in the Harbor.


Even after the sale, he has popped over to help his clients learn the nuances of lake living - dropping their boat in the water during first freeze, calling repair guy to fix the dock after a storm, rescuing their boat from their sinking dock or towing them to safety when their boat breaks down.
